Men & Women are different.

We all know that we can fall madly in love.  And I don't know anybody who thinks that being "in love" with another person is anything less than wonderful.  And when we are in love, part of what we love most is the differentness of other person.

At the same time. If you have lived long enough to fall in love with a person ~ and then eventually fallen out of love with that person ~ you may be ready to admit (if you are a guy) that women are really different from men. And if you are a woman, you may be ready to say that men are really different from women.

So, while "falling in love" is easy and wonderful, learning to understand and deal with the differentness of the other person is not so easy!

Fortunately, there are now lots of wonderful resources for learning how to understand and deal constructively with the differentness of men and women. But, it is important to add that every woman is different from every other woman, and every man is different from every other man.
