Discount Certificate for Texas marriage license & Evaluation Survey.

Texas was the 1st state to lower the marriage license fee for couples who make use of marriage preparation programs because evidence indicates they do better in establishing and sustaining a life long marriage.

If you are using For Better & For Ever, after completing the sessions with your sponsor couple, you can get the Texas Certificate of Completion which you take the county clerk to get your marriage license at a $60 discount.  [Your sponsor couple should know how to get this certificate for you; if not email > Fr. When you get your Texas Certificate of Completion please fill out this State of Texas Survey before you get your marriage license.

MINNESOTA MARRIAGE LICENSE FEE & DISCOUNT FOR PREMARITAL EDUCATION

The fee for a marriage license is $115.00, or $40.00 if you have completed 12 hours of premarital education.

To qualify for the reduced fee, you must present at the time of application an acceptable Statement of Premarital Education Form on the educator’s letter head. It must be signed, dated, and notarized.  Premarital Education Minnesota
